Rubi Rose Benton, known for her stage name, Rubi Rose happens to be an American rapper, songwriter and model. She was born on October 2, 1997, in Lexington, Kentucky in the United States of America. Growing up, her family first lived in Geneva, Switzerland before they moved to Snellville, Georgia where she had her junior year in high school.
After high school, she furthered her education at Georgia State University where she studied politics. Rubi grew up a music fan as she listened to several popular musicians. She first rose to fame when she appeared as the main model in the music video for the hip-hop group, Migos.
Rubi later started working with Jamaican-born East Coast Hip Hop Commentator DJ Akademiks where she was often featured on his Twitch stream. She began her music career in 2019. She signed with LA Reid’s record label Hitco Entertainment. Her first single was titled “Big Mouth”. In 2020, Rose was in American rapper Cardi B’s music video for her single “WAP”.
