The Los Angeles Angels have had some great announcers who have contributed very immensely to the growth of the team.

The baseball team is said to have had some great broadcasters like Matt Vasgersian as well as Mark Gubicza who have contributed very immensely to the growth of the team.

Matt Vasgersian-Play-By-Play Announcer

Matt Vasgersian joins the Angels television broadcast team to call play-by-play in 2021. The veteran broadcast who has announced numerous playoff baseball telecasts for Fox Sports, including the Saturday “Game of the Week from 2014-17 is in his fourth season as the play-by-play voice of ESPN‘s Sunday Night Baseball.

Matt Vasgersian is also known due to his voice which is been used for MLB video games which were created in 2006.

 

Mark Gubicza-Television Color Analyst

Mark Gubicza is a Television Color Analyst who is in his 15th season providing colour commentary for Angels broadcasts.

He is said to have worked with the Kansas City Royals where he spent 13 seasons with them, winning a World Championship in 1985 and 20 games in 1988. Gubicza and his wife, Lisa, live in Chatsworth, Calif. and have three children, Nicolette, Chad and Ashley.

 

Terry Smith-Radio Play-By-Play

Terry Smith joined Angel’s Broadcasters in 2002 and is currently in his  20th season on the Angels flagship radio station. This new season is said to be his  12th season as the Angels lead play-by-play announcer.

Terry before joining the Angels worked as a radio voice of the New York Yankees Triple-A affiliate Columbus Clippers for 19 seasons.

He entered into professional broadcasting in 1978, calling games for the Jacksonville Suns and later called games for the Memphis Chicks from 1981-82.

 

Mark Langston-Radio Color Analyst

Mark Langston is said to have joined terry Smith in the announcer of the team play by play on the radio on a  part-time basis during the 2012 regular season. During the 2019 season, Langston announced two games for the “MLB Game of the Week Live on YouTube” on July 29th (Angels vs Detroit) and September 10th (Angels vs Cleveland).
