Who is Jeremy Hunt’s Wife Lucia Hunt?

Jeremy Hunt is a British politician serving as Chancellor of the Exchequer since 14 October 2022.

Hunt, who was born in Kennington and is the son of a senior officer in the Royal Navy, attended Magdalen College, Oxford, to receive his education in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.

During his time there, he served as President of the Oxford University Conservative Association.

In 2005, he won his first election to the House of Commons. After being appointed to the position of Shadow Minister for Disabled People in the Shadow Cabinet, he was then elevated to the position of Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media, and Sport.

During the years 2010 to 2012, Hunt held the position of Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media, and Sport in the Coalition Government.

In this role, he was responsible for leading the charge for local TV, which resulted in Ofcom awarding local TV broadcasting licenses in respect to a number of cities and towns.

Hunt was also in charge of overseeing the Olympic Games in London in 2012, which were met with overwhelming praise. Because to his involvement in several businesses in the past, he is now considered to be one of the wealthiest lawmakers in the UK.

Lucia Hunt, Jeremy Hunt’s wife, hails from Xi’an, China, and was born there in 1978. She is a British citizen thanks to her migration to the UK before meeting the Tory MP.

Lucia was a regular on Sky TV’s China Hour and also hosted her own show, Signature Flowers of China.

Their partnership in the real estate industry is officially known as Mare Pond Properties Limited.

Lucia witnessed her husband’s 2019 campaign for Conservative Party leadership debut and was afterwards labeled his “hidden weapon.”

She rallied behind him once more when he ran for the Tory leadership in 2022, but he was defeated in the primary.
