Mike Hughes is an American football cornerback for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at UCF. He is reported to have been drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the first round (30th overall) in the 2018 NFL Draft. During his high school days, he lettered in football, track & field, and basketball and played as a quarterback at New Bern.
The first season at his college days in 2015 was one of hell as he was suspended along with M. J. Stewart, and was charged with misdemeanor assault charges from an altercation that had occurred earlier that month.
He parted ways with the team and transferred to Garden City Community College, where he spent a year. He played for the University of Central Florida for a year, deciding to forgo his senior year and enter the 2018 NFL Draft.
