To further his education, he decided to pursue a doctorate in computer science at Stanford University. There he met Page and together they constructed a search engine for the web. Google was born in Susan Wojcicki’s garage in Menlo Park after the program became popular at Stanford.
Who is Sergey Brin Wife Anne Wojcicki?
Anne Wojcicki is the ex-wife of the co-founder of Google Sergey Brin. Anne was married to Sergey from 2007 to 2015 until they both went separate ways.
She is an American entrepreneur who was one of the cofounders of the personal genomics company 23andMe and currently serves as its chief executive officer.
Wojcicki attended Yale University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 1996. In later years, she was employed in the fields of research and investment analysis.
Wojcicki and the American biologist Linda Avey established 23andMe in 2006, with Wojcicki serving as one of the company’s co-founders and Avey as the other. Wojcicki was motivated to do so by her curiosity about the potential for personal genetic testing to affect health care.
Wojcicki and Avey argued that if individuals were provided with personal information about illness risk, then those individuals would be empowered to take efforts toward disease prevention and would be better prepared to do so.
