Who is the best Denver Broncos Quarterbacks of all time?

The Broncos have had a long story of Quarterbacks helping the team to three times Super Bowl Championships. John Elway is considered the best Quarterback to ever wear the Broncos Jersey. He was with the Denver Broncos for 16 seasons.

1. John Elway

More than a decade and a half of success in the NFL. The Baltimore Colts drafted Elway first overall, but he declined to play for them. Elway led the Broncos to the playoffs ten times during his career, with five of those seasons ending in a trip to the Super Bowl. For his career, Elway threw 51,475 yards and 300 touchdowns in 234 starts.

2. Peyton Manning

QB Peyton Manning threw for 4,659 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions in 2012, leading the Broncos to a 13-3 record. Next year, he shattered NFL records for throwing yards and touchdowns in a single season, on his route to his record fifth MVP award and another Super Bowl trip, but Denver lost to the Seattle Seahawks in crushing fashion.

3. Jake Plummer

Denver made three trips to the playoffs under Plummer’s guidance, including a trip to the AFC Championship Game in his final year as head coach. It was a rough year for Plummers, but the Broncos finished 7-4 after 11 games. He had a 39-15 record, threw for 11,631 yards, threw 71 touchdowns, and threw 47 interceptions.

4. Craig Morton

Craig Morton spent six seasons with the Denver Broncos. From 1977 through 1982, he had a 41-23 record. He passed for 11,895 yards, 74 touchdowns, and 65 interceptions in his 64 contests. Additionally, he finished his career in Denver with a 56.9 completion % and a 79.1

5. Brian Griese

Despite being drafted in the third round in 1998, Griese was forced to replace John Elway in his second season. During his four seasons as the starter with the Broncos, Griese was 26-24 with a passer rating of 11,763 yards, 71 touchdowns, and 53 interceptions in his passing career.

When he made the Pro Bowl in 2000 after throwing 19 touchdowns and just four interceptions in 10 games, he had his best season.
