Mike Chernoff is an American baseball executive who works as the general manager for the Cleveland Guardians and was born in 1989.
Mike began his early education at Livingston new jersey where he was born and raised . He further attended the University of Princeton where he played shortstop for the Princeton Tigers baseball team.
The Cleveland Guardians General Manager after completing school took an internship to work in the Indians’ front office and remained with the team.
Chernoff in October 2010 was promoted to the Assitant general manager after serving as the director of baseball relations. He however chose to turn down an offer to become the general manager of San Diego Padres.
The 2015 Season after coming to an end saw the management of the Cleveland Guardians promoting the then general manager Chris Antonetti to the position of the president of baseball operations
Mr Mike Chernoff after the appointment of Chris Antonetti was then handed over the position of the General manager of the team and has since been in charge of the team.
He is said to be married to his beautiful wife, Sarah with whom they have three children.
