Yugyeom is the youngest among the GOT7. Yugyeom is the tallest member of Got7 despite being the youngest. In addition, because of his mature appearance, he is sometimes mistaken for the group’s eldest member upon the first glimpse.
Kim Yu-gyeom, better known by his stage name Yugyeom, is a South Korean singer, composer, and dancer who first rose to prominence as a member of Got7’s duo subunit Jus2 in 2014.
Due to his father’s work in Saudi Arabia, Kim has spent a portion of his youth there. With his brother, he grew up in Yeosu and then Namyangju, both in Gyeonggi Province.
He graduated from Hanlim Multi Art School in February 2016 and has since been accepted into the Model Department at Daekyeung University.
His mother was initially against him becoming an idol and wanted him to be a normal student, but he persisted in giving him a chance.
When he was a kid, he was inspired by the performances of Big Bang and J.Y. Park and wanted to follow in their footsteps.
When he was 14, he joined the Body & Soul crew, where he earned second place at the national championship Adrenaline House Dance Battle with them in 2010.
