Why did Mandy Moore Stop Singing?
Due to artistic conflicts, the gifted musician and actress stopped singing.
In 2006, More’s contract with Sire Records expired, and she retired from music and singing. Prior to leaving in 2006, she had signed a two-year contract with Sire.
According to other sources, In a February 2019 interview with The New York Times, she also claimed that her ex-husband, musician Ryan Adams, was mentally abusive and that he prevented her from making new connections in the music industry.
Her decision to leave was also influenced by personal circumstances. Her husband, Ryan Adams, is said to have been unsupportive of her work as a singer.
Moore remained in the public eye throughout time, but not for his musical accomplishments. Many people would believe it was because she didn’t like her own content and was more interested in acting, based on her prior statements.
Mandy Moore has returned to the music industry after her divorce from her ex-husband Ryan Adams. She revealed on Instagram in January 2020 that her sixth studio album, “Silver Landings,” will be released in March of that year.
She wrote, “It feels so amazing to be walking confidently into this next chapter of my life as a woman and artist, with an album of songs I couldn’t be happier with or eager to share.”
