Christian Arroyo is a professional infielder baseball player who plays for the Boston Red Sox baseball team of the Major League Baseball(MLB).
He was born May 30, 1995, in Brooksville, Florida, the United States to parents Israel Arroyo Jr. and Kimberly Arroyo. Christian grew up in Florida where he was born and had his high school education at Hernando High School in Brooksville, Florida.
Christian played in the United States national baseball team in 2013. He helped the team win a gold medal in the 18U Baseball World Cup. and he was named the MVP of the tournament. the 2013 18U Baseball World Cup.
The San Francisco Giants drafted him during the first round of the MLB draft in 2013. Although during that time he was playing college baseball at the University of Florida, he opted out and signed with the Giants.
He got promoted from minor leagues to major leagues on April 24, 2017, by the Giants and he made his MLB debut that same day for the Giants.
In December 2017, the Giants traded him to the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team who also, in turn, traded him to the Cleveland Indians. After a year with the Indians, he was taken by the Boston Red Sox off waivers.
