The American fantasy comedy movie Hocus Pocus was released in July 1993. The movie centers on a trio of evil, comic witches who unintentionally bring themselves back to life on Halloween night in Salem, Massachusetts, thanks to a virgin adolescent lad. John Debney was the composer and conductor of the Hocus Pocus score.
Neil Cuthbert and Mick Garris wrote the film’s script, and Kenny Ortega oversaw its direction. After its release, the film did poorly at the box office and garnered neutral to unfavorable reviews from reviewers. Disney consequently suffered a loss of $16.5 million while the film was in theaters. Hocus Pocus has been rediscovered by audiences, which has resulted in a rise in the film’s home media sales each year during Halloween.
The annual celebration of Halloween is one reason why the film has become a cult favorite. Hocus Pocus 2 is now available. The Sanderson Sisters were unintentionally transported to contemporary Salem in the film, which was released on September 30, 2022. Three young women now have to figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking havoc on the world. On October 18, 2021, Hocus Pocus 2 filming commenced in Providence, Rhode Island.
Will Hocus Pocus 2 have the Same Cast?
