Sergey Brin is famous for being the sixth richest man in the world. He is also the co-founder of Google. He is currently in the Jews following his divorce with Nicole Shanahan.
He attended Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Maryland. At the University of Maryland, where Brin entered in September 1990, he graduated at the age of 19 in 1993 with honors in computer science and mathematics from the Department of Computer Science. In 1993, he was an intern at Wolfram Research, the company that developed Mathematica.
Brin began his graduate computer science studies at Stanford University with assistance from the National Science Foundation. In 1995, he received his M.S. in computer science. As of 2008, he was on leave from his PhD program at Stanford. In June 2008, Brin invested $4.5 million in Virginia-based Space Adventures.
Brin and Page jointly own a customized Boeing 767-200 and a Dassault/Dornier Alpha Jet in addition to two Gulfstream V aircraft owned by Google executives. They pay $1.3 million annually to maintain these aircraft at Moffett Federal Airfield. In order to enable the collection of experimental data while in flight, NASA has outfitted the aircraft with scientific instrumentation.
