Here is a list of 5 of the Greatest Seattle Seahawks All-Time Rosters In History.
1. Walter Jones
Jones rose to prominence as one of the NFL’s most dominant players. First-round pick Jones was picked by the Seattle Seahawks in 1997, and he lived up to expectations.
Jones played for the Seahawks for the entirety of his 12-year career, missing just 12 games. The left tackle was selected to nine Pro Bowls and four First-Team All-Pros throughout his illustrious career. In 2006 and 2008, Jones garnered Second-Team All-Pro nods.
2. Shaun Alexander
With 16 or more touchdowns in every season from 2001 through 2005, Alexander was one of the best players in Fantasy Football during that time period. In four of those five seasons, he carried for more than 1,300 yards. From 2002 to 2005, Alexander had four of the top Fantasy rushing seasons in the franchise’s history, averaging more than 300 Fantasy points per season.
3. Steve Largent
Largent spent his remaining NFL career with the Seahawks, appearing in every game during the regular season. At the end of his 14 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, he had seven Pro Bowl appearances and a First-Team All-Pro selection in 1985.
Largent retired from the NFL in 1989 with an NFL-record 819 receptions for 13,089 yards and 100 touchdown receptions. Both he and Jerry Rice were members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s first team all-decade 1980s.
4. Russell Wilson
As a rookie, Wilson had an 11-5 record for Seattle. Wilson and the Legion of Boom led the Seahawks to victory in Super Bowl XLVIII the following year. On February 4, the Seahawks defeated the Denver Broncos 43-8 in the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history.
Wilson hasn’t missed a game in eight seasons of professional football. With an 86-41-1 record, his squad has never been out of the playoffs before. In spite of being constantly harassed by a weak offensive line, Wilson is a constant contender for MVP.
5. Cortez Kennedy
The finest defensive player in the history of the Seattle Seahawks is Kennedy. Kennedy was selected to six straight Pro Bowls from 1991 to 1996. Kennedy returned to the Pro Bowl in 1998 and 1999 after missing the first half of the 1997 season due to a fractured ankle.
Three times in his career, the imposing defensive tackle earned First-Team All-Pro honors and won the Defensive Player of the Year title for 1992 when he racked up a career-best 14 sacks.
