Meet Volodymyr Zelenskyy
Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy, the sixth and current President of Ukraine, is a Ukrainian politician, former actor, and comedian. Zelenskyy grew up in Kryvyi Rih, a large city in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in central Ukraine, as a native Russian speaker.

He graduated from the Kyiv National Economic University with a law degree prior to his acting career.
After that, he followed humor and founded Kvartal 95, a production company that produced films, cartoons, and television shows, including the TV series Servant of the People, in which Zelenskyy portrayed Ukraine’s president.
The show ran from 2015 to 2019 and received a lot of attention. In March 2018, employees of Kvartal 95 formed a political party with the same name as the television show.
Zelenskyy is Ukraine’s first Jewish president, and Ukraine’s Prime Minister, Volodymyr Groysman, is the first Jewish head of state and government outside of Israel.
Zelenskyy dissolved the previous Ukrainian parliament and called for early legislative elections in his inaugural address (which had originally been due to be held in October of that year).
The People’s Front, one of Zelenskyy’s coalition partners, was against the decision and left the ruling alliance.
Meet Olena Zelenska
Olena Volodymyrivna Zelenska is a Ukrainian scriptwriter and the wife of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Zelenska was ranked 30th on Focus magazine’s list of the 100 most important Ukrainians in December 2019.
Zelenska was named Ukraine’s first lady on May 20, 2019. She was featured on the cover of Vogue’s Ukrainian edition’s December issue on November 18th.
She discussed her first endeavor, nutrition reform in Ukrainian schools, in an interview with the publication.
Despite the fact that Zelenska and her future husband were classmates, they had never met. Many of her classmates, but not Zelenska, were known to Zelensky.
Zelenska met him when she was a student at Kryvyi Rih National University’s Faculty of Civil Engineering.
The couple’s romance grew over time, and they dated for eight years before marrying on September 6, 2003. Oleksandra, their daughter, was born on July 15, 2004. Zelenska gave birth to their son Kyrylo on January 21, 2013.
