Mötley Crüe is a heavy metal band from the United States that was founded in 1981 in Los Angeles. Nikki Sixx on bass, Tommy Lee on drums, Mick Mars on lead guitar, and Vince Neil on lead vocals formed the band. Over 100 million albums have been sold globally by Mötley Crüe. Mötley Crüe’s members have long been known for their luxurious lifestyles and androgynous personas.
Mötley Crüe began practicing with drummer Tommy Lee and vocalist/guitarist Greg Leon on January 17, 1981, after Nikki Sixx left the band London.
