Eric Steven Weddle (January 4, 1985) is a retired American football safety who spent 14 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He was a consensus All-American at the University of Utah and was drafted in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers.
Weddle was named to three Pro Bowls and two first-team All-Pro teams during his nine seasons with the Chargers. Weddle spent the next three seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, where he was named to the Pro Bowl in each of them, bringing his total to six.
After retiring from the Los Angeles Rams in 2019, he returned two years later to join the Rams on their playoff run, which concluded in a Super Bowl LVI triumph. He retired for the second time after the victory.
