Francisco José Meja, a Dominican professional baseball catcher and outfielder for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball, was born on October 27, 1995. (MLB). He formerly played for the Cleveland Indians and San Diego Padres in Major League Baseball.

Meja signed as a – anti international free agent with the Cleveland Indians in July 2012 for over $100,000. In 2013, he made his professional debut with the Arizona Indians of the Rookie-level Arizona League, where he batted.205 including four home runs as well as 24 RBIs in 30 games.
