Kirk and Julie met for the first time through a mutual acquaintance. They dated for a year and a half before deciding to get married to each other.
Their wedding took place on June 28, 2014, in Atlanta, Georgia.
Following many reports, it was discovered that only family members and close friends had been invited to the event.
Later, on September 29, 2017, they became the proud parents of Cooper Cousins, their first child. It turned out to be a baby boy, and their joy had no bounds for them. This was due to the fact that this was their first child, and they now share the duty of becoming parents.
