Is Rich Hill still Playing Baseball?

Rich Hill is 41 years old and he is still playing professional MLB. He started playing professionally with the Cubs in 2002.

Hill as a player has played for the Chicago Cubs, Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians, Los Angeles Angels, New York Yankees, Oakland Athletics, Los Angeles Dodgers, Minnesota Twins, Tampa Bay Rays, and New York Mets in the Major League Baseball (MLB).

Hill has won Pitcher of the Month accolades in both the American and National Leagues.

Hill is the first pitcher in MLB history to have a perfect game destroyed by a fielding error in the ninth inning, and a no-hitter ruined by a walk-off base hit in elimination games.

As of 2022, Hill is playing for the Sox. He signed a year contract with the team making it his fourth stint with the Boston Red Sox since 2010

Hill was given the opportunity to start in the Major Leagues for the first time since 2009, after transitioning to reliever due to a slew of ailments.

Hill went 2-1 with a 1.55 ERA in four starts in 2015, walking five batters while striking out 36 in 29 innings.

That was the start of a comeback that would last until his 2022 season with the Red Sox.
