Born in the United States, Tony Lee Dow was a sculptor, producer, director, and actor. The majority of the credit for his global renown goes to his portrayal of the main character in the enduring television sitcom Leave It to Beaver, which ran from 1957 to 1963.
Theodore “Beaver” Cleaver’s brother, Wally Cleaver, who was portrayed by Dow, was the oldest child of June and Ward Cleaver.
The parents of Dow’s characters were June and Ward Cleaver. Between 1983 and 1989, Dow played Wally in a television movie and an episode of The New Leave It to Beaver.
