Meet Paul Farmer’s Brother Jeff Farmer

Jeff Farmer, better known as Fake Sting and later nWo Sting, is a professional wrestler.

Jeff Farmer was a staple of World Championship Wrestling in the 1990s, leading a Japanese faction of the heel stable New World Order in New Japan Pro Wrestling until WCW’s demise in 2001.

Jeff Farmer began wrestling in 1991 as part of the tag team “Thunder and Lightning” in the IWF organization in Florida, and then traveled to World Championship Wrestling in 1993, where they had a brief rivalry with Harlem Heat.

Jeff Farmer left WCW to tour Europe, but he returned in 1995 as Cobra to face Craig Pittman in a rivalry.

On the September 9, 1995 broadcast of WCW Worldwide, Cobra made his WCW debut, beating Bobby Starr with his Cobra Clutch slam finisher.

Jeff Farmer’s WCW career culminated on September 15, 1996, when he competed in the main event WarGames match at the Fall Brawl pay-per-view.

Jeff Farmer, as The nWo Sting, beat Lex Luger, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, and the actual Sting after Farmer forced Luger to submit to the scorpion death hold with the help of Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall.

Jeff Farmer is the project manager for the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine’s GEAR (Genetics, Exercise, and Study) research initiative.
