Rachel Maddow is a television news program host and liberal political commentator based in the United States of America. She is the host of the Rachel Maddow Show aired on MSNBC.
Rachel was born on April 1, 1973, in Castro Valley, California to Elaine Maddow and Bob Maddow. She had her high school education at Castro Valley High School and her college education at Stanford University.
She graduated from the University in 1994 with a degree in public policy. The following year after she graduated from Stanford, she enrolled at Lincoln College in Oxford for her postgraduate course.
She graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy in politics in 2001 from the University of Oxford. She started her radio carer as a host at WRNX (100.9 FM) in Holyoke, Massachusetts. She was the host of “The Dave in the Morning Show”.
In June 2005, Rachel started working on TV and was often seen on the MSNBC show Tucker which was hosted by Tucker Carson himself. Rachel was a guest on CNN’s Paula Zahn Now during the 2006 elections and she was also a correspondent for The Advocate News magazine which happens to be an LGBT-oriented short-form newsmagazine for Logo deriving from news items published by The Advocate.
