Rob Gronkowski
Rob Gronkowski born on May 14, 1989, is an American footballer nicknamed Gronk. Rob Gronkowski has several NFL records and holds the most career postseason receiving yards by a tight end (1,163). Gronk was born in Amherst, New York.
He schooled at Williamsville North high school New York and woodland Hills Churchill, Pennsylvania. Rob Gronkowski is a 4X Super Bowl Champion ( XLIX, LI, LII, LV) and was also the NFL comeback player of the year 2014. Gronk also won NFL receiving touchdowns leader in the year 2011.
He was also 5X pro bowl (2011,2012,2014,2014 and 2017). Rob Gronkowski is a receiver and blocker. He was the first player of his position to lead the league in receiving touchdowns(17 in 2011). He played New England Patriots from 2010 to 2018 and currently plays for Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
On March 24, 2019, Gronk announced his retirement from NFL on his Instagram post but 5 months later the injuries he acquired throughout his career made his mental health not stable.
The Patriots on April 21, 2020, traded Gronk to Tampa Buccaneers with a seventh-round pick in exchange for a compensatory fourth-round pick in the 2020 NFL draft. His move to Tampa made him join former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
He resigned with the Buccaneers on a one-year contract worth $10 million this year.
