Shinzo Abe is a renowned Japanese political activist who has served as Prime Minister of Japan and being the President of the Liberal Democratic Party from the year 2006 to the year 2007 and again from the year 2012 to the year 2020. Shinzo was known to have been born on September 21, 1954 in Shinjuku City, Tokyo, Japan. Shinzo is known to be the longest serving prime minister in Japanese history at the time. Shinzo is known to have passed away just recently after a shooting incident.

He was known to have been elected to the House of Representatives in the year 1993 election. He was known to have been appointed Chief Cabinet Secretary by then Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi in September 2005, before being replaced as Prime Minister and LDP president in September 2006. It will interest you to know that, Abe dropped down from the position of being a prime Minister after one year in office which was due to medical complications from ulcerative colitis.

He made a comeback by defeating one Shigeru Ishiba who happens to be the former minister in a ballot to become LDP president for a second time in September 2012.
