An unlicensed doctor allegedly gave a Brazilian butt lift to an NYC Department of Correction captain who worked on Rikers Island. Tandra Bowser-Williams suffered a catastrophic stroke after undergoing surgery with Dr. Hector Cabral, who was previously prosecuted in New York for doing unlawful plastic procedures. Williams had passed away shortly after the stroke.
According to the reports given, the 49-year-old woman had flown to the Dominican Republic for the fat transfer. She left home promising and assuring her husband of 26 years that the outcome of the surgery would be great and that he would “love” it.
The surgery happened on May 13 at the Centro Internacional De Serugia Plastica Avanzanda Clinic which specializes in butt lifts and fats transfer in Santo Domingo. She died on May 14 after suffering a stroke from the fat transfer.
Dr.Hector Cabral, the surgeon who had performed the surgery has been reported to have been prosecuted in 2011 for the unauthorized practicing of medicine. He holds a reputation for five women dying as a result of his botched surgeries between 2017 to 2018. It is unfortunate that Mrs.Tandra Bowser-Williams has become one of his victims

Williams’ husband now widower Curtis Williams had stated that his late wife left behind a son, a young nephew she was taking care of and raising three foster kids. He also told the News his wife was a dedicated mother and had ‘nerves of steel.’Much information is not known about her kids.
