The Easter Bunny is also known as the easter rabbit and an easter rare. The celebration of the Easter Bunny is similar to that of Santa where who brings gifts to children who have been good and in need of something very special.
The hare was a popular motif in medieval church art. According to reports, Rabbits or Hares give birth without having children making them associated with the Virgin Mary.
It has also been associated with the Holy Trinity, as in the three hares motif.
