Moore is no longer imprisoned. Moore was released from jail on supervised release with the requirement that he pay a fine after serving a prison sentence of two years as a result of his trial in 2015.
Moore was arrested in November of 2015 when he broke into the social media accounts of his victims in order to steal their pictures and then post them on his website.
He was charged with the more serious offense of aggravated identity theft by the federal government.
Moore published his book under his own name shortly after his release in May of 2017. After a year, here is the continuation of The Story of Revenge Porn.
Moore had planned to take part in the Netflix documentary series that will be about him, but he ultimately decided not to.
The producers divulged the following information: “When we were developing it, he initially agreed to take part, but then chose not to.”
“When Hunter pulled out, I was initially disappointed but then I completely changed my mind and am so glad we ended up telling it through Charlotte Laws’ narrative,” the producer Vikki Miller added.
