Vidal Bruján is a professional baseball player who was born February 9, 1998, in San Pedro De Macoris, Dominican Republic and plays for the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team of the Major League Baseball (MLB). He positions as the second baseman and outfielder for the team.
In October 2014, the Tampa Bay Rays signed him to the team as an international free agent. In 2015, he made his professional debut with the Dominican Summer League Rays baseball team.
During the 2016 baseball season, Vidal played for two teams, that is the Gulf Coast Rays and Hudson Valley Renegades and he made a hitting record of .271 with one home run and eight RBIs in 51 games.
He played the 2017 baseball season with the Hudson Valley team and in 2018, he played for both the Bowling Green Hot Rods and the Charlotte Stone Crabs. He was named a Midwest League All-Star player for the Bowling Green Hot Rods in 2018.
Vidal made it to the Tampa Bay Rays 40–man roster following the 2019 season. In June 2021, Bruján was selected to play in the All-Star Futures Game. He was promoted to play in the major leagues in July 2021 by the Tampa Bay Rays team and he made his MLB debut that same day.
