Jordan Robert Romano (born April 21, 1993) is a Canadian professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball.

During his time in his hometown of Markham, Ontario, Romano attended Father Michael McGivney Catholic Academy.

He was a standout athlete who lettered in baseball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball throughout his college career.

After graduating from high school without being selected, he went on to Connors State College.

The freshman Romano pitched for Connors State and has a 0–1 record with an 8.68 earned run average (ERA) and 14 strikeouts in 913 innings while posting an 8.68 ERA.

The next season, Romano made 10 starts and produced a 4–3 record with a 4.74 earned run average and 53 strikeouts in 38 innings thrown, propelling the Cowboys to reach the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) World Series.

Romano was named the NJCAA Pitcher of the Year in 2011.

After the season, Romano went to Oral Roberts University, where he competed for the Golden Eagles for one season after graduating.

When he was the team’s closer, Romano had 29 bullpen appearances and compiled a 3–4 record, 11 saves, a 2.66 earned run average, and 49 strikeouts in 402–3 innings of work.
