In July of 2017, the Cleveland Indians made the decision to sign Rocchio when he became available as an international free agency. In 2018, he made his debut in the professional ranks with the Indians of the Dominican Summer League.
After hitting.323 in 25 games with the DSL Indians, Rocchio earned a promotion to the Arizona League Indians of the Indians organization.
