Yaseem Jenkins happens to be a 3-year-old baby boy who was reportedly 11 months old and received a gunshot in the head after the reports indicated that his dad used him as a human shield during a shooting incident regarding drug controversies that transpired in 2019.
According to the New York Post that surfaced during the incident that transpired, Jenkins received a stray bullet in the head neck, and buttocks after his father in an alleged theory tried to purchase drugs with fake money which is usually referred to as counterfeit cash. Nafees Monroe was the name of the father.
According to how the incident took place, the shooter who was identified as Francisco Ortiz fired on Jenkins and the dad whiles in the car after the drug reportedly went wrong.
“We are awaiting a medical examiner’s report on the cause of death but we have reason to believe the cause of death is his original injury from that shooting,” Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner declared at a press conference Friday on April 22, according to the Post.

Yaseem’s father is called Nafes Monroe. The identity of her mom is not known but Monroe had a girlfriend who probably is the baby mama at the time of the Oct. 19, 2019 shooting.
