A press release issued by McDonald’s earlier this month verified the news that the fast food restaurant chain would bring back the reusable, collectible pails that were initially introduced to the market in 1986.
The classic Happy Meal will be sold at participating McDonald’s restaurants across the country beginning on October 18 and continuing through Halloween, or until supplies run out, whichever comes first.
McDonald’s revealed five fan-inspired methods to repurpose the Halloween pails once the meal is finished, ranging from utilizing them as potting containers for plants to use them as accessories for a holiday celebration.
Does McDonald’s have Halloween Happy Meals?
McDonald’s is really getting into the Halloween spirit now that its famous and fun Happy Meal pails are back.
The McBoo, McPunk’n, and McGoblin are going to be available starting on Tuesday in the United States for a short time. This comes after there was some buzz about the vintage Halloween buckets on the internet and on social media.
Over the years, the popular things changed, with some becoming themed for popular television programs and characters, such “As Scooby-Doo” and “Monster High.”
When McDonald’s created the buckets in 2016 based on the beloved Halloween movie “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” it was the last time anyone saw them.
