Dave Grohl
Grohl is a musician, songwriter, filmmaker, author, and dancer from the United States. He is most recognized for his work as the drummer for Nirvana and as the leader and guitarist for Foo Fighters.
Following the departure of their drummer Kent Stax, Grohl joined the punk rock band Scream at the age of 17. Following Scream’s disbandment in 1990, he joined Nirvana as a drummer.
Nevermind (1991), Nirvana’s second album, was a worldwide triumph and featured Grohl on drums for the first time.
Nate Mendel
Nathan Gregor Mendel is a former member of Sunny Day Real Estate and is best known as the bass guitarist for the Foo Fighters.
He’s also collaborated with The Jealous Sound and The Fire Theft, among others. Under the name Lieutenant, he has only recorded one solo album, If I Kill This Thing, We’re All Going to Eat for a Week.
Pat Smear
Pat Smear is the stage name of Georg Albert Ruthenberg, an American musician. He is most recognized for his work as a rhythm guitarist with the Foo Fighters, with whom he has made six studio albums.
He was a founding member of the Germs and toured with Nirvana from 1993 to 1994 as their guitarist.
After Kurt Cobain’s suicide, drummer Dave Grohl went on to become the frontman of rock band Foo Fighters, with Smear shortly joining on guitar.

Chris Shiflett
American musician Christopher Aubrey Shiflett He’s most known for being the lead guitarist for the Foo Fighters, an American rock band.
He was a member of the punk rock bands No Use for a Name (1995–1999) and Me First and the Gimme Gimmes (1995–2019), among others.
Following the release of the Foo Fighters’ third album, There Is Nothing Left to Lose, he joined the band in 1999 and performed with both the Foo Fighters and the Gimmes, as well as a number of other side projects, at the same time.
He also hosts the Walking the Floor podcast and has two solo albums under his belt, the most recent of which was released in 2019.
Rami Jaffee
Rami Jaffee is an accomplished musician from the United States of America. He is most known for his work as a keyboardist for the rock band Foo Fighters, whom he joined in 2005 as a touring and session musician.
Jaffee has been on six studio albums with the band and was recently added to the core lineup.
Jaffee was a member of The Wallflowers from 1990 to 2005, and again from 2013 to 2015. Before joining Foo Fighters, he was a member of The Wallflowers from 1990 to 2005.
