Why is Hocus Pocus 2 not in Theaters?

Hocus Pocus 2” is the long-awaited sequel to the box office bomb “Hocus Pocus,” which was released in 1993. Its premiere on Disney+ comes just in time for the month of October, which is revered as the “spooky season.”

Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker all reprise their roles from the original production as the Sanderson Sisters.

The Sanderson Sisters are three witches who were expelled from Salem but continue to return on a regular basis (or at least every time a virgin accidentally lights a black flame candle) to cause mayhem until morning.

Roger Ebert awarded the original film a rating of one star and two thumbs down, so it’s safe to say it wasn’t very good.

On the other hand, the sequel is outstanding, and it serves as a reminder of why Disney has become the most successful company in the entertainment industry.
